How it began
Two people, one ridiculous amount of mcdonalds, and a whole lot of laughing along the way. Here's a little of how we got here.
Chapter one
It started with a mutual friend, a crowded kitchen, and a conversation that somehow lasted until the last train. We laughed until our sides hurt, traded playlists the next week, and somehow never quite stopped talking after that.
Chapter two
Road trips, Sunday markets, bad cooking experiments, and quiet mornings with the dog. Somewhere between the ordinary days and the big adventures, it started to feel like home — and like forever.
Chapter three
On a golden evening walk through the meadows near home, with the mountains watching on, the question finally came. There were happy tears, a yes that didn't need thinking about, and a sunset that somehow knew exactly what it was doing.

Getting there
A few notes to make the weekend easy. Reach out if you need a hand with anything.
The Meadow Estate is about 90 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Free on-site parking is available, and rideshares can drop you at the main gate.
We've reserved a block of rooms at Willow Creek Inn (10 minutes away). Mention "Hamish & Steph" when booking for the wedding rate.
Book accommodationThe Yarra Valley is gorgeous in late November — pack a light layer for the evening, and leave room for a winery stop on the way home.
Good to know
We've carefully planned seating and catering, so please only bring a guest if they are named on your invitation. If you're unsure, just ask — we're happy to clarify.
We adore your little ones, but this celebration will be adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We hope you understand!
Garden formal — think beautiful dresses, sharp suits, and shoes you can walk on grass in. Soft sage, cream, and earthy tones would look lovely in photos, but wear what makes you feel wonderful.
Yes — weather permitting. If it rains, we'll move under the marquee. Either way, you'll be under cover for the reception.
